Science doesn’t need to just be limited to the “official” science time in your daily schedule! I find it meaningful to incorporate science into many other aspects of our daily lessons…including the daily interactive read aloud. The lesson plan that I’ve created shows an example of aspects of one book that can be used to talk about phenology with your students using a story as an avenue to create a dialogue for science!
